Barrier Island Shutters LLC (the Company) warrants, to the original retail purchaser only, that its product is free from defects in material and workmanship under normal and proper use for a period of five (5) years commencing from the date of delivery of the product(s) to the purchaser (customer).  Any defects must be reported within one (1) year of the delivery date (proof of purchase required), and the Company shall not be liable for claims for defects first appearing or that Company is first notified of if more than one (1) year from the date of delivery.  The Company's only obligation under this limited warranty shall be to replace the products that are defective.  The Company's warranty shall be limited to defects in the products for a period of one (1) year commencing on the delivery date, and only to the extent not caused by improper installation, cleaning or servicing of the product by purchaser or purchaser's contractors.  All warranties are restricted to products which are utilized in the application for which they were originally designed.

The limited warranty does not cover natural deterioration, normal wear and damage caused by misuse, improper installation or operation, improper cleaning or servicing, accidents, abrasion, fire or acts of god (other than hurricane/storms).  This includes normal wear and tear of product during storage.

No warranty of any kind, expressed or implied, shall arise hereunder unless and until the purchaser has paid the full purchase price for the products.

To the maximum extent allowed by the laws of the state of Florida, the parties agree that the Company shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, loss or injury arising out of the products purchased under this agreement, including but not limited to loss of use or lost profits.
