Many houses have covered structures such as balconies, porches, patios, verandas and walkways. Although these areas do not necessarily require protection from hurricanes, deploying our hurricane screens on a porch, for example, can add to the comfort of your home while protecting your belongings during storms. In normal weather conditions, they filter sunlight, allow gentle breezes to circulate, and let you see everything outside. During storms they protect the furniture, barbecue and plants on the porch from high winds and torrential rains, saving you the hassle of removing and storing them before each storm. |

Our hurricane screens can be installed in a manner that allows them to be rolled up out of the way, similar to a window blind, if the home-owner so desires.
Balconies, covered walkways and similar structures require a different installation process than that of a standard window or door. Since balconies and walkways typically do not have accommodating vertical support beams, the screens are attached at the ceiling line at top and at the ground/floor level with special anchors (available at most hardware stores).
